MDM 8.0 Industry Day Branding
Project considerations.
Event entirely student run.
The branding team was made of 12 students who were also balancing their major research projects. We determined roles and tasks along with a work-back plan to establish spaced-out deadlines.
First Twitch-streamed event.
We were the first cohort to focus all of our energy on Twitch for the live event. This meant introducing our attendees to the platform before the day of the event through “preshows”
Balancing brand direction with the unknown of TMU’s brand.
Our project took place during the summer of 2021 where students were referring to TMU as “X-University.” This led to many discussions about the old logo and whether it should be used.
