The goal of the Insights in Action Tour (IIAT) was to connect with policy makers and industry leaders across the country and demonstrate FSC’s research and project insights

Digital and printed assets.

Balancing the digital and print needs for each event was overwhelming to navigate, but using project management systems like Asana allowed for the communication between myself and the event coordinators made the process manageable. Each event required 2 slide decks (offered in EN + FR), 1 agenda (EN + FR), 4-6 printed bilingual assets, and 4-10 digital bilingual assets.

Tight timelines, tight budgets, tight crew.

Navigating the events in such a short period of time with a small team and smaller budget meant making quick decisions about swag and print costs. While initial designs for the tote bags and lanyards were more visually exciting, we needed to keep print costs low, which meant choosing just the logos for print. However, for the tote, we were already printing green inthe logo so I added a minimal design motif the upper right corner to help with visual balance.
