FSC’s first digital and printed impact report was created to capture the influence of the Future Skills Centre in the Canadian labour ecosystem.

The goal was to consolidate a large amount of text-based information in a way that emphasized breathing room and visuals to break up the large amount of copy.

The first report of its kind.

The 2022 impact report was the first annual-style report created in the 4 years FSC had been working for. The amount of information to include was daunting when considering the limitations of a printed medium, but provided an opportunity to think creatively about communicating information in a condensed format.

Outdated brand guidelines.

The impact report was the first priority for the summer of 2022 with the brand guidelines following in the fall. This provided an opportunity test out new styles and see how upper management felt about the refreshed elements.

Based on the physical report, but more opportunities.

The digital impact report was the opportunity for the team to explore the elements we liked best of the print report, and enhance the experience. For us, that meant the data visualizations through pie and donut charts, the map and large numbers

Working with an external web developer.

We were able to work closely with a web developer to bring our visions to life. I was tasked with building wireframes and visual mockups based on our meetings, creating any graphics, data visualizations and icons and optimizing them for web, and sourcing images for the page.

Tuning into what came to be FSC's refreshed brand.
